By providing corporate partners with a state-of-the-art innovation background and contributing to the development of the University’s and entrepreneurial competitiveness, its mission is the coordination of innovation and R&D resources in the area of key competences. The role of competence centres, besides determining the scientific directions of the University, is the operation of the sustainable entrepreneurial business model in collaboration with the University’s spin-off enterprises. One of the research priorities is the development of battery technologies and testing facilities linked to the transition to electromobility.
